7, 2002 - Fished F-705 Bulkhead and straightening fuselage ribs. November
11, 2002 - Finished Fuselage bulkheads. Looking at longeron's. November
18, 2002 - Bent Longeron's and assembled part of fuselage. November
19, 2002 - Drilled J-Stiffeners and clecoed the aft fuselage. November
23, 2002 - Started riveting aft fuselage. Mom/Dad and rivet. November
24, 2002 - Riveted aft tail cone. Lori helps with the rivet gun. November
29, 2002 - Finished up the aft fuselage today... Cool! November
30, 2002 - Working on Center Fuselage today. December
2, 2002 - Dimpled the Center Fuselage. More dimpling to do. December
3, 2002 - Worked on Center Fuselage rib rivets. December
5, 2002 - Rivet center bottom skin, ready with longeron's. December
6, 2002 - Attached center fuselage and installed side panels. December
9, 2002 - Bending Conical bends and drilled longeron's to sides. December
10, 2002 - Mounted firewall and bottom skin; drilled everything. December
17, 2002 - More forward firewall constr. - start brake pedals. December
21, 2002 - Brake and rudder pedals and floor stiffeners. December
22, 2002 - Disassembled front end and started deburring parts. December
27, 2002 - Debur and dimpled side skins, removed center fuse. December
28, 2002 - Cut out landing holes, dimpled longeron's, and more.
December 29, 2002 - Putting the fuselage's
back together. Lots of parts. December
30, 2002 - Riveting skins on fuselage, about 1/2 done on skins. December
31, 2002 - About 90% done with skins and bottom riveting. January
1, 2003 - Finished skins and rolled the 'Canoe' over. Cool! January
2, 2003 - F-757, F-695, F-728A (Gussets and Angle pieces) January
3, 2003 - Fashioned bellcrank part, just messed around today. January
8, 2003 - Forward gussets, side rails, and canopy deck. January
9, 2003 - Right canopy deck, drilled top skins, using Smart Tool! January
10, 2003 - Riveted rear deck.... clean up shop some. January
13, 2003 - Left step, gussets... flying day. January
14, 2003 - Right step, baggage floors, started on rear panel. January
16, 2003 - Finished baggage compartment. January
18, 2003 - Finished tunnel cover, working on seats. January
19, 2003 - More work on the seats. Tedious job here.... January
27, 2003 - Finished seats, working on covers and flap actuator. January
28, 2003 - Finished flap actuator and covers. January
29, 2003 - Installed landing gear mounts. January
30, 2003 - Ordered gauges and started on HS Mounting. January
31, 2003 - Mounted HS Stabilizer. February
2, 2003 - Finished Elevator Control rod. February
4, 2003 - Working on mounting Vertical Stabilizer to Fuselage. February
5, 2003 - Finished up on Vert. Stab. and start on forward fuselage. February
6, 2003 - More work on forward fuselage and air vents. February
10, 2003 - Dimpled remaining skins, received instruments in mail. February
14, 2003 - Working on elevator and stick controls. February
16, 2003 - Built mount for Whelen strobe power supply. February
22, 2003 - Painted 90% of the interior. February
24, 2003 - Completed static tube installation. February
25, 2003 - Installed map box ... 6 hours! February
27, 2003 - EAA inspection, working on electrical. March
5, 2003 - FWF delivery, install ELT, brake reservoir, Wally's RV8. March
6, 2003 - Worked on some wiring, son helped out a little. March
13, 2003 - Built Vertical Stabilizer again, put in new rudder stops. March
15, 2003 - Working on battery box, engine parts came in. March
22, 2003 - Rudder wiring, battery box finished, some strobe wiring. March
23, 2003 - Cleaned garage, moved ELT mount, staring at Inst. panel. March
24, 2003 - Relays on battery box, start attaching rudder cable. March
25, 2003 - Rudder cable straps, fuel valve, elevator trim mount. April
22, 2003 - Installed fuel tank brackets and cabin fuel vent lines. May
20, 2003 - Fuselage fuel line to and from valve, right brake line. May
21, 2003 - Left brake line, flexible brake hoses, and elevator trim cable.
June 2, 2003 - Working on fuselage top aft
skins... rivet them in place.
June 4, 2003 - F-6111 braces and finished
riveting Fuselage aft top skins. |
