The last couple of days have been spent taxi'n around and getting the general feel for the plane. Today I removed all inspection plates, cowls, etc. to get ready for our EAA and DAR inspections next week. We will fly the plane just as it is for now. At least, until we get all the bugs worked out. Oh, we also did a weight and balance and it came in at 1055 pounds. I'm sure we'll be adding another 50 pounds of paint and upholstery some day... but not right away.... we have places we want to go...
After all, that's what it's all about. Goin' places, seeing things from up high, and just having a lot of fun. I'll post next after the inspections to let you know what they found wrong and what they found right. Until then...
