Blue Lake, Nevada 2002

This year was admittedly very busy with schoolwork   that led to the completion of University credits in early July.  So, we didn't get much vacationing time in before July 3rd.  There was one trip to Blue Lake, Nevada (dad and son).  The weather cooperated and the fish were jumping all over the lake.  All in all it was a good trip, even though we didn't catch any fish!

On the way home we drove by another high mountain oasis called Onion Lake.  There are quite a few fish in this mountain reservoir.  There are also some very nice camping spots on the North East shoreline.  Blue Lake sets up high in the picture near the snow patch.
