In August we took a little trip to Mary and Mikes place for a quick family
reunion. This year it was just the adults. This is brunch on
the back deck.

I'm guessing that Lori grabbed the camera here, because I'm in the scene.
Usually I'm not in many of the pictures. |
 |
This was the land clearing adventure. It was amazing how the dozer
could topple and pile rather large juniper trees. |
 |
Ah yes, the four hombres. We had killed a rattle snake earlier in
the day. I have heard central Oregon is loaded with those critters.
Personally, I've only seen a little over a half dozen in my lifetime.
But I'm still young (well... I feel young).

My surprise graduation party. I had succeeded in getting my
Bachelors Degree with the University of Phoenix. |
 |
Looks like a time for celebration. Balloons, whistles and bubbly.
Congratulations Rick. |
 |
This is a cool picture of our hostess and host. They are the
best.... |
 |
This is a neat picture of mom, Linda, and Mary. I think they were
headed to feed the chickens. |

Mike is a professional napper. No, I don't mean he likes to take
naps. He can carve out an arrowhead in a very short time. And,
he also likes to teach others the art.
|
 |
And, dinner time. I'm not sure why I took a picture of dinner.
Maybe I was really hungry... not sure. |
 |
The rest of these frames are family portraits before we all went our
separate ways. Lori took this picture. |
 |
Linda and Mike. |
 |
Mike and Mary (host and hostess). |
 |
Lori and me (Rick). |
 |
And, for the grand finale, us guys....
Thanks to Mary and Mike for putting up with us again. |
