On one of our summer trips to Kingman, Arizona we traveled over the
western edge of the Grand Canyon. It must have been a flood season,
or else the river is always this color, but we were amazed by the reddish
color. |

If a person ever has the opportunity to book a 'low-level' flight over the
Grand Canyon I would think it would be worth the money spent. Just
this small view, through the western corridor was enough to say the Grand
Canyon is an amazing place. |

You can see a rain shower in the far left corner of the picture.
Imagine floating down the Colorado River in a raft, with the rain
descending down. That would be really cool. |
