This summer we traveled to Redmond, Oregon, rented a car and drove to my
sisters house at Trout Creek.
When we arrived there was a slew of Van's RV's flying in formation
above the field. It was really cool to watch.
This is just one of the planes that was flying in formation. These planes
are some of the best cared-for planes I've been around in quite some time.
You won't see any oil on the bellies of these planes. |

The following photo's are from a birthday party as Mary's place. We
celebrated my mom and Linda's birthday and they got to open presents.
Rex, Mary, and Mike. |
Lana, me (Rick), and Rex. |
More of Mary, Mike, and Rex.
It was a beautiful day to sit in the shade. |
And now the birthday celebration begins. Just so no one got
confused, the two birthday kids received Tierra's. |
Group hug for the birthday kids. |
What's this? Lana is trying on the Tierra for size. I wonder
if she knows about the pair of rabbit ears above her Tierra? |
The real kids had lots to do. |
Yep, a beautiful day. |
This picture shows some heavy drinking going on at the right side of the
screen. I'm guessing Root Beer. |
I finally got Lori in a picture.
Funny thing here, you'll notice the Tierra gets around. Everyone
wants to be the birthday kid. |
I thought Linda received books, but after a closer look, they appear to be
tissue boxes shaped like books. |
I think this is Angel. I can never keep the kids names straight.
But he sure is happy with the wrapping paper. |
This is a special present from Rex. He hand-drew this picture and I
think he used charcoal. |
This is a close up of the picture. (Linda, Mary, and Ricky) |
After the birthday party we went down to the creek to cool off. This
is Brent. |
I would name everyone in the photo if I could. A memory is a
terrible thing to lose. |
The water was flowing pretty good this year. It normally slows down
to a trickle before July. |
The shadows are getting longer as the sun begins to set. Mary is
teaching the baby how to play fooz-ball. |
I believe Lori and I had to leave the next morning due to obligations in
Winnemucca. We had a great time, ate lots of food, visited for hours
on end, and we can't wait until next year to do it all again.
Hope to see you there. |
