Mount Rose Ski Trip 2007
Brent and I went skiing at Mount Rose early in 2007.  The snow was good and the weather was great.  This was Brent's first time skiing so he sent to lessons for first hour of the day. 
I thought Brent had already went down the hill once and came back up (I was out skiing the Black Diamond), so when I grabbed him up at the end of the chair lift I thought he already knew how to ski. 

I have to admit, he caught on real quick.  I'm thinking he'll be wanting to snowboard one of these trips.  It never hurts to get the basics on skis.  You never know when you'll go skiing with a bunch of friends and skis are all that's available (like that will ever happen). 

Yep, Brent was almost an Ace skier by the end of the day. 
He never made it to the top of the hill, but this is a picture of what it look like. 
And, this is taken from the lodge area.  It demonstrates all the runs.  We had a fantastic time and I can hardly wait to do it again next year.  We did make it skiing twice in 2007.
