Oregon Water's 2007

This web page didn't really have any place, just a few pictures of some water spots during my travels in the summer of 2007.  Actually, I had bought a truck in Eugene, Oregon, and these pictures were taken on the trip to pickup the vehicle.

This is the geyser in Lakeview, Oregon, and is currently called Old Perpetual.  It used to be called Hunter's Hot Springs, back when I grew up in Lakeview (1958-1976).  It is said the geyser has a plume of 200 degree water, shoots water over 60 feet in the air, and displays this event every 90 seconds.  From my latest visit I would say they are absolutely correct.

Sprague River runs through Chiloquin, Oregon, and is really beautiful at this location.  There was some property for sale right on the riverfront; tempting!
Once we got to Eugene, Oregon and picked up the truck, we traveled over to the Willamette River and took some pictures.  I used to live in Eugene years ago and I miss the vegetation.  However, the pessimistic side of this statement is that I don't miss the rain.
If you ever get a chance to stop at Salt Creek Falls, located about 20 miles east of Oakridge, Oregon, be sure to stop and take a short hike to the falls edge.  I suppose the fish swimming upstream don't go any further here.
