New Grand Daughter - Ava Rose - 2008
Around the end of September we got a phone call.... new grand baby on the way.... hurray!  So Brent and I hopped in our fast truck and headed northwest to welcome the new baby in the world.

Our new Grand Daughter (Ava Rose) was born September 27, 2008.  She is just the cutest bundle you ever could see.  She didn't cry much while we were there.

I enjoyed holding her, and I was extra careful.  New baby's are always so precious that I'm half afraid to hold them.  I think it is the wobbly head and neck that scare me the most.

We had a fast visit and then Brent and I headed home.  I think we drove about 14 hours one way, and it was enjoyable to spend the time traveling with Brent as well.
