The event starts with preparing for the feast.
And we have lots of helpers, young and old. |
I thought this was a great picture, smiling, happy, and in the kitchen. |
The fire pit that Lamar built works like a charm. It can get a bit
chilly on the coast, any time of year. |
Yep, smile... nice and cozy by the fire. |
The next evening we all made our way to the coast for some beach and fire
time. It was a little drizzly but not bad enough to run us off.
In this scene Lamar has the striker in his hand, ready to light the flame. |
Nice picture here; Mary, Sharky, and Mike. |
And another Kodak moment (taken with a Nikon). |
The Nikon wasn't cooperating very well with the fire light. This is
the best fire 'after-dark' fire picture we got. |
The next morning Norma and Olga cooked up some banana pudding. My
hero's. I just love banana pudding made the way Grandma did. Mmmmm! |
A nice picture of the Lewis gang. |
Here is Lori. |
And, here I am... Rick! |
The Barrett family made it to the reunion, and here they are in the
kitchen, cooking up a storm. Mmmmm! More hero's. |
We did stop for a Nikon moment. This is the whole gang. |
Lori and I stayed an extra day. Lamar and Olga took us sightseeing.
We visited Yaquina lookout tower and here is a picture of bird rock (a
sanctuary) taken from the tower area. |
