Brent and I traveled many miles through the Nevada desert to get to the
Virgin Valley Hot Springs. We were welcomed by a group of travelers
from all over Oregon. I'm not familiar with how many years the group has
been coming to the hot springs, but I can guess somewhere around 10-12
years (probably more). |

This picture is of a storm coming our way. |
Quick, everyone run for cover..... |
Yep, it was definitely a snow storm. As soon as the wind stopped
blowing we huddled in close to the fire. |
The next day.... sunshine. We went for hikes, enjoyed mess cooking,
and.... |
... the hot springs. Funny, there isn't anyone in the water. |
The next day everyone moved to Bog Hot. This particular place on the
stream gets wider every year. But, with a little work we built a dam
and created a reservoir... small, but effective. |
You can see the snow in the background. Brrr! |
Plenty of fun going on here... |
I can't remember who's bug this is, but is sure is cute. |
Oh yeah! Nice and warm. |
Cool picture. |
The girls were making beanies for everyone. Refer to the picture above for
a fashion modeler.... |
The kids sure do have fun in the hot water... |
... in fact, it's hard to get the kids out of the water to eat.... |
Another nice picture worth sharing. |
Kids everywhere... |
I count 25 in the picture, plus the photographer (me). That would be
26 for this particular day. And we had more on a previous day.
I think the cold weather drove some away.... |
It snowed the final morning. Brrr! Brent and I had lots
of fun on the vacation. We'll always remember it... |
